Agnes Cunningham Brown Memorial Scholarship

Renewable all four years with GPA of 3.0 or higher

This scholarship was established to honor Agnes Cunningham Brown. One scholarship will be awarded to a senior graduating from Culpeper County High School or Eastern View High School. Successful applicants should demonstrate academic excellence, have community service experience, display leadership and initiative, and demonstrate financial need. This $3,000 award is eligible for renewal for all four years provided the students maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submits transcripts annually to NPCF.

To honor Bobby Lenn’s memory, this scholarship will be awarded to applicants who are residents of Culpeper County are graduates or candidates for graduation in the current year from Culpeper County High School or Eastern View High School. Students must be planning to attend training/school in the state of Virginia.  First priority is given to applicants who demonstrate financial need, are in good academic standing, have community service or work experience, and/or are involved in organized athletics. Candidates should possess an academic record that displays initiative and diligence. Award amounts vary.

Celebrate Education! Ruth Lea Davies

The Celebrate Education! Ruth Lea Davies Fund provides financial assistance to outstanding Culpeper County public and private school teachers to enable them to participate in conferences, seminars, workshops or cultural programs to further their professional development. Financial assistance is also available for necessary school supplies or to sponsor a speaker to present at the teacher’s school. This $500 award is presented to a recipient whose professional excellence demonstrates the highest teaching standards and leadership.

Culpeper Rotary Foundation Scholarship For Two Year Technical Or Trade Degree Or Technical School Diploma Or Certificate

Established by the Rotary Club of Culpeper, qualifying applicants must show a desire and aptitude to succeed in their career. Applicants must be a resident of Culpeper County and have been accepted at a technical school, trade school, certificate program or 2-year college. Applicants must demonstrate a financial need with Preference given to applicants who demonstrate community involvement and volunteerism. This is a one-time $500 award.

Culpeper Rotary Foundation Scholarship For Four Year Degree

Renewable all four years with 2.5 or higher GPA

4-year institution

Established by the Rotary Club of Culpeper, qualifying applicants must show a desire and aptitude to succeed in their college career and must be a resident of Culpeper County. Applicants must plan to enroll in a 4-year institution and show a financial need for the scholarship. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate community involvement and volunteerism. This $1,000 award is eligible for renewal for all four years provided the student maintains GPA of 2.5 or higher and submits transcripts annually to NPCF.

Culpeper Wellness Foundation Health & Wellness Scholarship

Health or wellness-related certificate or degree program at Germanna Community College

This scholarship was established by The Culpeper Wellness Foundation to benefit students of any age who are residents of Culpeper, Madison, or Orange counties. Applicants must be accepted into a health or wellness-related certificate or degree program at Germanna Community College. All health fields will be considered. Applicants should demonstrate good academic standing, have community service experience, possess an academic record that displays leadership and initiative, show a commitment to their chosen field of study, and demonstrate financial need. This is a $2,500 scholarship eligible for renewal.

Nursing program

This scholarship is designed for Culpeper County students attending a public high school or enrolled on Germanna Community College and pursuing a career in nursing. This scholarship is meant for students who are not necessarily academic superstars nor in great financial need. In other words, the student who might otherwise get lost in a merit based or great financial need situation. This is a $1,000 award and my also be given to a student currently enrolled in the nursing program at Germanna Community College.

Lynne Goldsborough Yowell Scholarship

Arts majors (visual arts, music or theater arts, culinary arts, or other areas focused on study or career in the creative arts)

This scholarship was created to honor Lynne Goldsborough Yowell, a longtime Madison County resident who worked tirelessly for the benefit of her beloved home county. This scholarship is open to students attending Madison County or Culpeper County public high schools. This scholarship may be used for a high school student graduating in the current school year or for a Madison or Culpeper County student already enrolled in college pursing an Arts Major. The Arts is defined as visual arts, music or theater arts, culinary arts, or other areas focused on study or career in the creative arts. First priority is given to students demonstrating financial need and academic merit. Students must be in good academic standing; have community volunteer or work experience; and show a commitment to their chosen field of study.

Martha Mae Giles Scholarship

2-4 year college or university

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Martha Mae Giles. It will benefit graduating high school students from Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison or Rappahannock counties planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university. First priority is given to members or children of members of Our Saviour Lutheran Church of Warrenton, VA; however, the scholarship award is open to all students and not limited to church members. This scholarship is renewable provided the student submits transcripts annually to NPCF.

St. Luke’s Foundation Scholarship

Renewable all four years with 3.0 or higher GPA

Private school alumni

The St. Luke’s Foundation Scholarship is open to seniors who are residents of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, or Rappahannock counties, and are alumni of any private school in Culpeper County, although priority is given to St. Luke’s alumni. The qualifying candidate should possess a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate good academic standing, have community service experience and possess an academic record that displays leadership and initiative. Up to three scholarships are available for $1,000 – $2,000 depending on GPA. This award is renewable for all four years provided the student maintains a GPA of 3.0 and submits transcripts annually to NPCF.

This scholarship award was established to assist Culpeper and Eastern View High School students pursuing further education for Visual or Performing Arts at a public college in Virginia. One $1,000 scholarship may awarded. Applicants should demonstrate good community standing and possess a record that displays initiative and commitment to their chosen field of study.
