Each May, The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation sponsors Give Local Piedmont, our region’s largest one-day online giving event during which nonprofits engage their supporters to give to their cause. Give Local Piedmont begins months in advance with advertising and technical support for area nonprofit organizations and continues through the 1-day event the second Tuesday in May with games and prizes. This annual day of giving helps encourage community members to use their charitable giving to support local organizations doing work in their own community.

Give Local Piedmont raised has raised over $12 million since it began in 2014.
