Mary Beth Williams Memorial Scholarship
Agriculture or related field of study
Mary Beth Williams was killed in an automobile accident on May 14, 1997. She was interested in higher education and agriculture and this fund was established as a memorial to her life and her dreams. Qualifying applicants must be residents of Rappahannock County, candidates for graduation from high school, have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5, demonstrate financial need for the scholarship, and must be enrolling in a two or four-year accredited college or university. Preference will be given to applicants who are majoring in agriculture or a related field of study and/or active participants in the Rappahannock 4-H program. Award amount varies.
Cooley, Dearing, And Rinker Foundation Scholarship
Award amounts vary, but typically range from $1,000-$5,000
Qualifying applicants must show a desire and aptitude to succeed in their college career. Applicants must be a successful graduate of a public school in the City of Winchester, Frederick County, Rappahannock County or Warren County, and demonstrate a financial need. Candidates must be enrolling in a two- or four-year college or university. Award amounts vary but typically range from $1,000-$5,000.
Martha Mae Giles Scholarship

2-4 year college or university
This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Martha Mae Giles. It will benefit graduating high school students from Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison or Rappahannock counties planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university. First priority is given to members or children of members of Our Saviour Lutheran Church of Warrenton, VA; however, the scholarship award is open to all students and not limited to church members. This scholarship is renewable provided the student submits transcripts annually to NPCF.
Poling Family Memorial Scholarship

The Poling Family Memorial Scholarship is a diverse scholarship opportunity for our Rappahannock County Students. Qualifying applicants must be residents of Rappahannock County, and candidates for graduation from high school in the current year, in solid academic standing and having participated in community service. Primary preference will be given to applicants pursuing study of FIRE SCIENCES. If no applicants are applying in this area, then secondary consideration will be considered for applicants studying Culinary Arts. And finally, if neither culinary arts nor fire science applicants are discovered, then the scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing theater or visual arts. Award amount varies.
RMD Music Scholarship
$3,000 per year for four years
Renewable with continuation in music and minimum 2.7 GPA
Music degrees
This scholarship is for a graduating senior from a Fauquier or Rappahannock County public school who intends to seek a degree in music at an accredited four-year institution. An eligible student should be well rounded and display initiative, motivation and leadership. Recipients must audition for this scholarship in the spring of their senior year. Students must also present their acceptance into a University music program before auditioning. The renewable scholarship is for $12,000 for four years ($3,000 each year), provided the student is still in a music degree program, provides annual transcripts to NPCF and maintains a GPA of at least 2.7.
Lois R. Snead Arts & Crafts Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is awarded to students who are residents in Rappahannock County and are graduates or candidates for high school graduation at the end of the current academic year. First priority is given to students who are first generation, demonstrate financial need, and are recommended by their teacher. Students should demonstrate a commitment to a field in arts or crafts, have some community service experience, and possess an academic record that displays initiative.
Sallie Morgan Behavioral Health Scholarship

Behavioral health fields
The Sallie Morgan Behavioral Health Scholarship was created to support future generations in achieving success in the behavioral health field. The scholarship is available to graduates or candidates for high school graduation, public or private, at the end of the current academic year. Applicants must be residents of Fauquier or Rappahannock County. Individuals out of high school who are registered in an accredited mental health program are also eligible. All behavioral health fields will be considered. One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded. Applicants should demonstrate good academic standing, have community service experience, possess an academic record that displays leadership and initiative, show a commitment to their chosen field of study, and demonstrate financial need.
St. Luke’s Foundation Scholarship

Renewable all four years with 3.0 or higher GPA
Private school alumni
The St. Luke’s Foundation Scholarship is open to seniors who are residents of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, or Rappahannock counties, and are alumni of any private school in Culpeper County, although priority is given to St. Luke’s alumni. The qualifying candidate should possess a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate good academic standing, have community service experience and possess an academic record that displays leadership and initiative. Up to three scholarships are available for $1,000 – $2,000 depending on GPA. This award is renewable for all four years provided the student maintains a GPA of 3.0 and submits transcripts annually to NPCF
